TwistedBrush the digital painting software by Pixarra now has full support for layers. Layers allow for advanced composition of components of artwork or photos. Editing these components becomes possible in new ways with layers even after the artwork has been complete.
Pixarra's TwistedBrush is known for its easy to use real artist tools. TwistedBrush is currently at version 5.2 and includes hundreds of brushes that mimic real artist media, over 50 new filters, extensive on-line tutorials and almost 200 brush effects. TwistedBrush since it's inception has included traditional artist tools, such as oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, airbrushes, pencils, charcoal, pens, chalk, markers and oil pastels. Under the covers is a high performance 64 bit brush engine that achieves smooth blends and responsive brush strokes.
